Bio
The leader of the Royal Guard, a small team of android bodyguards who protect the corporations that work to wring more profit out of their employees. Sable protects a media company and acts as its number one personality. Always cordial and polite, cool and collected, the very picture of human excellence, there is nothing in the world that gives her difficulty. The only thing that gives her trouble is her identity as a reflection of humanity. As as machine built to kill she's frustrated about being limited to a human shape, and hates having the complex thought patterns of a human-like brain. She likes to follow her orders exactly, completely skipping steps that were implied and not directly stated, like a computer would.
The pinnacle of the Gestalt Divers, one of only six with the title of Holy. Revered and lauded as a savior of mysterious origin, she enjoys an adoration and admiration she's more than happy to share with her supporters. As the unquestioned strongest she only fights when there are truly no other options, so her unarmored face gives peace of mind to many. She relishes in being better than any human ever could and tries to show off the gap between their abilities at every opportunity, but hates that she's capable of feeling this way at all.
Character Relations
Rio
Just another imitator, if she were allowed to she would kill her and be done with it. Although as time goes on Rio's obstinance and ability to break the status quo causes enough problems that they end up becoming rivals and Sable becomes determined to demonstrate the distance between an ordinary person and the upper echelon of societal order.
Whitney
Barely even knows she exists. Assumes she died when the Neon Knights collapsed. Sees her as an example of people who can't accept their role in life and proof that humans can never be happy due to their concept of freedom.
Azure
Easily Sable's most loyal officer, even if she finds her personality distasteful. She's at least happy Azure follows instructions properly and promptly.

Another update to the reference sheet with more of a pose.
First updated reference sheet. It's tough to fit the weapons in, so maybe a second reference sheet is necessary?
Sable's battle forme, still a litle unsure about it. The Royal Guard should all follow a theme of "white plus their color", but in Sable's case there's the addition of gold accents.
Various sketches showcasing Sable's personality, still in progress.
Her dynamic with the rest of the Royal Guard is basically like this.
Small gif, these were going to be for some kind of tutorial.
Old material
2022 reference sheet. It still doesn't quite look like the image of her I have in my head, but it's getting there, maybe.
2022 site icon. She looks a bit small here somehow.
One of the earliest design references I can find, from an old college project pitch that wasn't picked up. A lot of the coloring has changed since then, and the battle form is completely different too. These wildly disparate colors were meant as a reference to the other Royal Guard members, but I much prefer the newer focus on red as a tertiary accent color.
