Bio

A private detective enjoying a moderate amount of success at her agency in the cold, coastal city of Rockview. She ends up being hired by the police to help investigate Team Fortune, a criminal organization that wreaks havoc on the city.

Annie herself places a great deal of importance on the emotional situation of the culprit in any case she leads, looking for the cause that would ultimately create a motive. She has an intrinsic desire to fix problems rather than seek equivalent punishment. Though this mercy is easily exploitable, she won't hesitate to fight to protect someone in danger.

Character Relations

Ash

Sees him as someone confronted with the failings of the legal system just like she was and tries to be as supportive as she can. With how guarded he is it's difficult to get much information out of him, but she believes that if he opens up a little he'll find some way to accept the past and move forward.

Cheryl

It's unclear if Annie knows who any of the Team Fortune agents are personally, but she certainly hasn't met Cheryl yet.

Gallery

Updated reference, not much is different but at least it's not an A-pose.

Main reference, her colors are fairly muted here but the purple/mauve is still apparent I think.

Sparse, but I'm gradually filling this out.

Old material

Who the HELL is THIS?!?!?! This is a sprite from a long-abandoned project from when I thought not using color would make things easier somehow. Foolish. This relic from 2019 is nothing but proof of my failures, ones that led me to marginal improvement, I suppose.

Aha, I found an even older one. This is back from 2017 apparently. I really intended on making a video game that looked like this, thank goodness it failed. Her gloves being mittens are more apparent here, they were mittens up until 2020 when I felt like actually wanting to draw hands.

Oh yeah now that's the stuff. This is the earliest iteration of Annie that I can find, a placeholder from 2016 when I first started trying to wrangle RPG Maker into making an adventure game style VN. As you can see, I basically didn't learn any anatomy during development, not even until the project's termination in 2020. Maybe this section should be renamed Mercilessly Bullying My Past Self.

Slightly better. This is a set of face sprites from an RPG Maker game I made in 2021 about killing all my projects. Yet here they are. I don't know why the faces are organized like this. Probably just copied over the old ones and skipped ones that weren't different enough or unimportant. Full sized portraits do not exist, this is because I am lazy and have no energy. That game *is* completed and available on my itch.io page.
